WE ARE SETH AND TAMAR
Years ago, we arrived in Málaga during a very different phase of our lives than the one we’re experiencing today. We were coming off a difficult period, and although we didn’t realize it at the time, this city would eventually become a place of healing for us.
Here, we rediscovered hope, purpose, and a different way of looking toward the future. Little by little, we came to realize that God continues to work in the midst of life’s challenges, even when we feel like we’re starting over.
Perhaps that is why we have always felt a special connection with people who feel that there must be something more. People who are searching for purpose, community, or a faith that feels more intimate and real.
Life Church got its start in a very simple way. Some families in our neighborhood were going through difficult times, and we felt the desire to be there for them.
We started by getting together at home, sharing our lives, our faith, and our journey. We didn't have any grand plans or a defined strategy. We were simply trying to care for one another and build something healthy.
Over time, more people began to arrive. More conversations. More stories. More lives finding a sense of community, support, and a place to continue growing.
That was when we realized that what had emerged so naturally needed to take shape—not to become something different, but so that we could continue to care well for people, with a clear culture, a shared vision, and a healthy way of being a church.
